Speech Therapy...we've come a long way

Princess has had speech therapy for about 5 months now, and I see a BIG difference in her speech. She no longer sounds like my baby girl. It is sad and happy all at the same time. It is like hearing your child leaning how to talk for the first time, and she is 3! It is amamzing at how clear and good her words are now. Her speech therapist, Krystal, and I were talking last week about how we wished we would have video taped her at the start of the speech therapy to see the difference now. Well I was looking and found this video of her from October before speech therapy started, it is her singing Happy and you know it. So I had her sing it again today and I recorded her. So here they are. Let me know if you see or should I say hear a difference in her voice.

DO NOT BUY THIS PLAY PIN!!!!!

I have this play-pin, and it will be boxed up tonight and sent back to Simplicity tommorrow for a refund!! The sides that are supposed to lock into place, do not lock very well.
Then the sides have started collapsing at random times! Today when it decided to fall apart, Monkeywas in it! I still have the bassinet part assembled at the top, and he was in the changing table part of it, had I not been there, he would have rolled out and fallen to the floor! I am not happy with just receiving my money back from this, I think that it needs to be pulled off of the shelves immediately!! This could seriously injury an infant!! I've called Simplicity twice and I've contacted Fox News about it also, trying to let people know of the issue. While looking into it, I found about 30 other people who have had the same problem as me! I went to Walmmart.com and BabiesRUs.com and searched their reviews. So stear clear of this item!!!

Friday, Friday, Friday

Well today is finally Friday. I love Friday's because I know that the hubby will be home all weekend and we can do stuff around the house, or just relax all weekend. Today I have a lot to do, so I'm not sure how much relaxing I'll really be doing, but we shall see!

We got some good news last weekend, that I'm ready to share with everyone today. My in-laws bought a house, and asked if we would be interested in renting it out from them! We were so happy, before even seeing the house. So we went over to take a look at it, and it is just perfect for us! It's a four bedroom, two and a half bath, two car garage, fenced in backyard....It's great! We are so exicited as we will finally have room!!! We are now in about 1100 sq ft, this will be 1800 sq ft. So this is, to say the least, great news for us. We will be in a better area, and won't have to worry about our neighbors breaking in our house!I have a few pictures to post, and they aren't great, but I tried:( They will be closing on it within the month, and then after the painting and some floors being redone, we will be ready to move in, it should be sometime mid-late april. We are so thankful for this, and can not wait!!!

No Green Beans or Apples for me, please!

Well Monkey has tried green beans this weekend, and NO! He does not like them at all!! He also does not like Applesauce, and we think he is allergic to Apples, he breaks out around and inside his mouth, and gets a diaper rash, so we are keeping away from those for a couple of weeks and then going to try them again and see.

Well I'll blog more later!

You're Broke Because You Want To Be.......

This is a book that my mom and dad sent me this week. I received it and had it finished in about one day! I loved it! It is by a man named Larry Winget, and he also has a tv show called Big Spender. This book is exactly what the title says, a book about money. He has a very good approach to saving money, and he is very to the point. I was so exicited to start his program, so we jumped right into. Granted we have only just started on Friday, but we have managed to put 15% into savings of what we brought home on Friday, and we still had spending money for our date night, and my favorite part, I was under-budget on my grocery bill:) Yay! So far I'm very proud of myself! I know it's not much, but you don't understand how hard it is for me to SAVE money. We didn't even spend all of our money we had set aside for Friday evening, it is still in the envelope waiting...haha. Anyways I wanted to share some quotes he has in his book, I thought they were good:

If you feed your mind as often as you feed your stomach, then you'll never have to worry about feeding your stomach or a roof over your head or clothes on your back.

People do not want to take responsibility for the scarcity in their lives. It is much easier to blame circumstances, others, events, or even God for the things they have failed to acquire or achieve.

Almost any man knows how to earn money, but not one in a million knows how to spend it.

If your outgo exceeds your income, then your upkeep becomes your downfall.

So this book was great, and so far so good!
